A small town
that keeps its
own pace.

Trong sits between Taiping and the coast — old shophouses, quiet roads, and the smell of kopi in the morning. We opened one room in a family house for travellers passing slowly through.

No lobby, no schedule. Arrive when you arrive, sleep well, and take the long way to wherever you are going next.

What started as a dream to create a peaceful space in Trong has grown into a cosy roomstay for travellers, families and friends. Here's how it all began.

The first step began with purchasing land in Trong — a dream to build a comfortable resting place.

Construction Begins

Building works commence. From a single sketch, the site starts taking shape into what will become Trong Roomstay.
